Dennis was born on September 7th 1962, the youngest child of Milton and Gladys Snyder, living most of his life in Delanson, N.Y. Dennis was a quiet, soft spoken, shy man, who graduated from Duanesburg Central School. Dennis was knowledgeable in mechanics and enjoyed activities involving cars. Dennis was an avid of NASCAR fan, rooting on Dale Earnhardt Sr, then Dale Jr. On any given Sunday, when not taking in a football game, NASCAR was enjoyed.
Dennis use to drive for his sister-in-law, delivering the Want Ad Digest. He also delivered the Schenectady Gazette and worked at the Quaker Inn cleaning up after patrons left for the evening. Dennis also engaged in several odd jobs throughout his life.
Dennis and his mom had a close bond, he would drive her to visit with family and to run errands. Dennis would go out, brining his mom with him just to take rides and see where the deer were. Dennis spent his life at his mom's side, each helping each other through their day to day.
Dennis will be remembered by his family and friends as the guy who would go out at any time of the day in any weather to help one that was stuck. Dennis was one of those guys who had the patience of a saint You could ask him how the roads were in a storm; he would typically say "Eh a little wet". The bad weather while driving never bothered him. Dennis will always be remembered as quick witted, with a sweet smile & small giggle as he looked at you over his glasses.
