Dewitt K. Miller II

On Thursday evening, January 30, 2025, Dewitt Kevin Miller II departed us without saying goodbye. His life was a blessing, memory a treasure, he'll be missed and loved beyond words and beyond measure. 

Our beloved was born February 1, 1994 in Hudson, New York to parents Dana Berkley and Dewitt Miller. Dewitt "Man man" received his education through the Albany Public school system. Dewitt was employed with the Department of General Services, where he became the supervisor. He helped to organize and prepare for upcoming events in the community with MVP Albany as a second job. He enjoyed doing "DoorDash" faithfully when he wasn't at either one of his other jobs. 

Dewitt loved taking his kids to the library, they were the most important part of his life. He was the type of person who would follow his own convictions and didn't let the opinions of others hold him back from pursuing his dreams. Man Man was a son, loving father, caring brother and supportive friend who will be deeply missed for his acts of kindness, his radiant smile, his love, determination and commitment to his beautiful kids. 

He was predeceased by his grandfather's Willie J. Ivery and Kevin Miller.

Dewitt is survived by his two daughters Nai Lah Miller and Jae Lee Miller, son Nyshaun Miller, sisters Destynee Miller, Mena Eason, Dahmarie, Minarie, Mineira and Minyjah Berkley, brothers Dayshon Miller and Daymin Berkley, aunts Tova, Dran, Dru, Shawn, Myava and Kadesha, uncle Todd Smith, two nieces Kailani Berkley and Dahjoir Miller, nephew Kyion Boggs, grandmothers Patricia Snyder and Denise Murphy as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and some very genuine friends. 

Please remember a beautiful soul is gone but never forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Thursday February 20th from 11am to 1pm, with a celebration of life beginning at 1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie NY 12205.
