Diana E. Warrenchak

February 11, 1928 — December 5, 2019

Watervliet- Diana E. Warrenchak, 91, passed away after a brief illness with her family by her side on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Born in Uley, England she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ivy Powell. She is predeceased by her husband, Metro F. Warrenchak "Chuck" and their son Peter E. Warrenchak.

Diana was a communicant and member of the choir at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Watervliet. She was also a proud and active member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Society. Diana enjoyed reading, taking in nature, knitting, puzzles, scrabble, walking outdoors, but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Linda Baker, James Warrenchak (Maria), Peggy Ann Jolicoeur (Michael), Pamela Warrenchak and daughter in law Linda Brown Warrenchak. She was also the loving grandmother to, Elyssa Baker, Adam Warrenchak, Michael Baker and Schuyler Warrenchak. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews in the United States and in England and many close friends and her beloved cockatiel, Sydney.

Diana is also predeceased by her sisters, Doris Watson and Angela Cason.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 4pm-8pm with a Parastas Service being held at 4:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189. A mass in Diana's name will be held on Tuesday at 10am at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2410 4th Ave, Watervliet, New York 12189. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Maplewood.
