Diane M. Daubney

BURNT HILLS-Diane M. Daubney, 57 of Burnt Hills, NY passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at her residence. Diane was born in Schenectady, NY the daughter of the late Steven and Joan Kietlinski. She retired from the USPS in Colonie in the Human Resources Department. Diane was a devoted and loving caregiver to all of her family and friends. Diane was a communicant of St. Adalbert's Church in her youth and St. Mary's-Crescent in her adult life. Diane loved Saratoga especially during summer with the track season. Diane will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. She lit up the room with her humor, and zest for life.
Diane is survived by her loving children Edwin (Lacy) Galka, Derrick Galka and Kristen Daubney. She is also survived by her brothers Gary, Mark, Richard and Robert Kietlinski.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, November 4, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Church of St. Adalbert, Crane St. Schenectady.
Interment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Schenectady.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Saratoga in memory of Diane.
