Diane T. Writer 60, of Albany, a loving mother and grandmother passed away on January 13th, 2021 at home.
She was born on April 19, 1960 to the late Ronald and Barbara (Kosa) LaBounty. She was a resident of Albany for all her life and worked as a Secretary at the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance.
A caring, loving and stubborn mother, mema, sister, aunt, daughter and friend will be dearly missed. She enjoyed every moment that she could spend with her grandchildren and drinking her dunkin donuts coffee.
Diane leaves her daughter Vanessa; "weekend daughter", Terea; 2 grandchildren, Janessa, and Alexander; 2 brothers Raymond and Ronald; her nieces Victoria, Valene, Joanna and Keisha; her nephew Joseph. She was predeceased by her son, Scott; her parents Ronald and Barbara; her brothers, Paul, and Stephen; and her sister Deborah.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
