Dinah A. Parr

Dinah Parr, 46, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 16, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Dinah was born in Albany to Ann (VanGeest) Brodbeck and the late Charles Brodbeck, Jr. Dinah worked for over 27 years for Uni Select, in Albany where she made many great friends. Dinah loved the outdoors and spending time in the mountains where she would ride her Harley and her all terrain vehicles. In addition to her father, Dinah was predeceased by her husband, William Robert Parr, Jr.
Dinah is survived by her cherished daughter, Rachel Parr; her loving mother-in-law, Alberta Parr; her best friends, Karen and George Govel; her mother; her brother, Charles (Leslie) Brodbeck; many nieces, nephews; several close friends and neighbors. She is also survived by her canine companion, Playdoh who she adored.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 9 to 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Johns Lutheran cemetery, Colonie.
