COLONIE – Dolores J. Kelly, 82, passed away on Friday, November 01, 2013 at home. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John DeRusso and Loretta Doyle.
Del enjoyed spending time with and watching her family grow.
Del was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, George L. "Skip" Kelly, son James Kelly and sister Jean Nedeau.
She will be missed by her daughters Cheri Parvis of Albany and Bonnie (Dennis) Briggs of West Chester, PA; siblings Kathleen (John) Huston, Joan Leveroni, Jack (Starr) DeRusso and Sally Mangan; grandchildren Kelly Albanese, Jaime (Derek) Forkel, Michael (Crystal) Parvis, D.J. Briggs and Brian Briggs; great-grandchildren Krystal Albanese, Emma, Kayla, Mariah Forkel, Austin Albanese and Michael Parvis,V.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
