Delores M. Jones, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at St. Peters Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Delores was born in Albany to the late George and Mary Burke. In addition to her parents, Delores was predeceased by her daughter, Suzanne Marie Kiley; her granddaughters, Amy Zinzow and Ashleigh Schneider; and her brother, George William Burke, Jr.
Delores is survived by her loving husband, David Jones; her cherished daughters, Margaret (Donald) Zinzow, Veronica Ann (Ronnie) Adriance, Jacquelyn Marie (Patrick) Gray, Cynthia Jean McLaughlin, Michelle Beverly (Paul) Hebert, and her stepson, Donald Phillip Jones. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, her brothers, James Burke and Patrick (Pearl) Burke and her half brother, Michael (Mary Pat) Burke.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 8:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie then to All Saints Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 in Delores's memory.
