Dolores Mabee

SCHENECTADY- Dolores L. Mabee, 76, of Hillside Avenue, entered into the arms of the Lord on Saturday September 9, 2006 at Ellis Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born in Schenectady on April 23, 1930, the daughter of the late Francis Breandt and Lillian Emrich Breandt. Dolores was a lifelong resident of Schenectady.
She was employed by Schenectady Municipal Housing Authority until her retirement in 1992. She will be remembered as a loving mother and as Red Headed Nana.
Survivors include her three children, Kathleen and her husband Paul Matern of Scotia, Kimberly and her husband Kenneth Abare of Ballston Lake, Joseph and his wife Diane Mabee of Schenectady; five grandchildren and one great grandson; and her cousin and best friend, Faith and her husband Jerry Ferreri of San Antonio, TX.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 8:30 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. John the Evangelist Church at 9:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
