Dolores M. MacDonald, 81, of Ormond Beach, Florida, A woman of strength and tenacity passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Schenectady, New York (Hungry Hill) on March 11, 1942 to the late Allen and Helen (Simpson) Neach. Born as one of 18 children, Dolores was the matriarch of her cherished family. She shared a special bond with her twin Donna; they were inseparable.
Dolores dedicated herself to nursing by obtaining her Practical Nursing License in 1979 and immediately went to work for Ellis Hospital (A3) for 16 years and retired in 1995. Dolores then worked for several Assisted Living Facilities and the Veteran's Hospital in Ormond Beach. She was forced to retire due to health issues.
Her greatest accomplishments were obtaining her Practical Nursing License and raising four daughters by herself. Her devotion to her siblings. overseeing that her family was cared for.
Dolores enjoyed baking cakes for the entire family. She enjoyed being a grandma, a nana and then GiGi. Dolores enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings, her twin Donna and exploring Ormond Beach with her husband and traveling with her lifetime friend Lynn Meyers.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband John MacDonald of 31 years.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Haralampopoulos, (Angelo) Roselie Donadio, (Dominick) Tracey Lewis, (Ron) and Wendy Gaffney. Grandchildren, Danielle Lisinski, (Chris) Alex Haralampopoulos, Michael Donadio, Nicole Donadio, Ashley Harbor, (Bret), Thomas Lewis, Elizabeth Gomez, Ronald Lewis(Gabriella), Jonathan Lewis, Aaron Lee(Valerie), Brandon Lee and Cody Lee Great grandchildren Sean Lisinski, Seth Lisinski, Santino Donadio, Gio Donadio and Noah Singleton, Isabella Gomez, Andrew Gomez, Gabe Walkup, Ollie Walkup, Tegan Harbor, Avery Harbor, Jerrad Harbor, Sydnee Harbor, Joseph Walkup, and Kobe Millinghaus and Evangelina Haralanpopolous as well as Great, great, grandchildren Paxton Harbor, and brothers Harvey Neach and Kurt Neach.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 12pm-2:30pm, with a service following at 2:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, Colonie, New York.
