ROTTERDAM - Dolores A. Santor, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2018 at home.
Dolores was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a kind-hearted and compassionate person. She will be dearly missed. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye.
Dolores was an avid bowler. She was a member of the Wednesday AM Women's Bowling League and cherished the many friendships she had formed there.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Michael E. Santor; her children, Kim Smith (Wendall Smith, III), Michele Drislane (Peter Drislane), Scott Santor (DeEllen Wood); grandchildren, Nicole Collins, Alexis Drislane, Michael Santor, S. Austin Santor, Dallas Santor; siblings, Ronald Sheridan, Brian Sheridan (Lori), Jennifer Hellijas and dear friends, Lorraine, Nettie, Barbara and Anna and many friends and other relatives.
She is predeceased by her parents, James and Ruth Sheridan and her 3 brothers, James, Jr., William and Robert.
A special thank you to Nicole Collins and Kim Smith for the wonderful care they provided to Dolores during her illness.
Those who wish to remember Dolores may do so by donating to a charity of their choosing as she had so many close to her heart.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11am. She will be buried at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 1pm.
