Fuda, Dominick A.
Albany – Dominick A. Fuda, 77, passed away suddenly Saturday October 16, 2010 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Dominick was born in Albany a son of the late Rocco and Lena Fuda and was a lifelong area resident. He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956 and retired as a driver/ salesman from Stroehmann Bakeries. More recently, Dominick worked as a courier for Albany International Airport. He was an avid Notre Dame Football fan and even bigger fan of his granddaughter's soccer team.
Dominick is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years Carmela Fuda, their six children: Maria (Michael) Russo, Dominick (Paula) Fuda, Joseph (Suzanne) Fuda, Angie (Jamie) Kallner, Theresa (Jason) Cotugno and Anthony (Jeanne) Fuda, 9 grandchildren: Gabby, Jason, Tori, Nicolas, Dominick, Breanna, Patrick, Jackie and Lyndsey, Also surviving are his siblings: Reverend Mother Carmel, Joseph (Caryl) Fuda and Rocco (Joanne) Fuda, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00am from New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie then to St. Coleman's Home, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am. Calling hours will be Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
