Dominick Cardone

ALBANY, NY – Dominick R. Cardone, 67, of the Avila, in Albany, passed into the hands of God on Saturday morning, December 30, 2006, surrounded by his family at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. He was born in NewYork City and was the son of the late William and Rose Cardone. Dominick retired from the Albany Times Union in 1999 as a typographer. He was a member of the Rensselaer Elks Lodge #2073 and the Knights of Columbus of Rensselaer. He is survived by his sister, Roseann Fallanca and his brothers,William (Beverly) Cardone of Schenectady and Richard (Christine) Cardone of Colonie. Also surviving are three nieces and five nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10:00at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
