Dominick Corcione

COLONIE- Dominick N. Corcione, 89, of Colonie, passed away on Friday May 12, 2006 at St. Peters Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in West Albany and was the son of the late Pasquale and Mary Corcione. He was predeceased in 1957 by his wife Jennie Walcosky Corcione.
Dominick was a supervising steward with teamsters Local 294. He worked with J.H. Maloy Construction Company for over thirty five years, retiring in 1982. Dominick was dedicated to his garden and cultivating plants, vegetables and flowers. He enjoyed many family functions and spending time with his cherished nieces and nephews. He was an avid New York Yankee fan.
He is the loving brother of Michael Corcione, of Albany, Anthony Corcione of Loudonville, Frances Skorupsky of Albany, Rose Miller of Latham, Ann Hoffman of Latham, Mary Troiano of Colonie and the late Daniel Corcione. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 8:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to Historic St. Mary's Church on Capital Hill at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
