SPECULATOR - Donald A. Pinkerton Sr., 71, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Gloversville.
Donald was born on May 7, 1942 in Schenectady and was the son of the late Alfred and Edith (Dunster) Pinkerton. He was president and owner of DMW Repair Towing and Trucking in Speculator and a member of the Carman Fire Department, White Eagle Ambulance and IBEW Union of Electricians. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making people laugh.
Donald is survived by his loving children, Donald A. Pinkerton Jr. (Kristine), Mary A. Reilly (Sean), Wayne A. Pinkerton (Pamela) and Barbara A. Pinkerton; his brother, Ronald Pinkerton (Gerry); his grandchildren, Donald A. Pinkerton III, Kelsey and Zachary Insogna, Sarah A. and Shannon L. Reilly and Leeanne B. Pinkerton; his stepchildren, Mary Elizabeth, James and Karl Abrams; his former spouse, Betty L. (Pike) Williams; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice "Molly" (Abrams) Pinkerton; his brothers, Charles Hughes and Alfred and Lewis Pinkerton; and his grandson CJ Insogna.
There will be no services.
