Donald John Desjardins, 67, was called to the Lord on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Ellis Hospital.
Donald was the son of the late Bernard and Beulah (Phillips) Desjardins.
Donald was a communicant of the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish in Schenectady.
He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was always willing to help his family whenever it was needed.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, David, Robert and James.
Donald is survived by his brothers and sister, Kenneth Desjardins, Barbara (Esteban Bultron) Desjardins and William (Jeanne) Desjardins. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews and his dear friend Mary Leonard.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Monday March, 7, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 11:00 am at the Funeral home. Internment will follow the service at Vale Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 1803 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309 in Don's memory.
