Donald E. Goodfriend

Donald E. Goodfriend, 83, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday October 21, 2010 at his residence after a long illness. He was born and educated in Manhattan and was the son of the late Milton and Eleanor Blaubaum Goodfriend. Don served in the US Navy during WWII. He was employed with the New York State Police and retired as an investigator with Continental Insurance Company. He enjoyed seventy five summers at his cottage at Lower Rhoda Lake in Ancram, NY. Don was predeceased by his brother Sanford Goodfriend.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Raye Roetina Goodfriend, his treasured sons, Keith (Julie) Goodfriend and D. Scott (Kimberly) Goodfriend; his grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Goodfriend and Philip Krawczyk and his granddaughters, Valerie and Alison Krawczyk.
