Donald Schryver, 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2011, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Delmar. Donald was born in Olean, New York on March 2, 1929 to the late George and Mary Schryver. He graduated from Olean High and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brothers, Edward Schryver of Colorado Springs, Co. and Philip Schryver of Federal Way, Washington.
Donald is survived by; his brothers, George Schryver of Albany, NY and William Schryver of Dayton, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am at Christ the King Church, Albany. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King building fund, 20 Sumter Avenue Albany, NY 12203 in Donald's Honor.
