Albany- Donald J. Shaffer, 49 of Albany, formerly of Endicott NY passed away suddenly on Friday December 4, 2009 at his residence.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Beatrice Shaffer and his brother David. Don is now cooking and cleaning his way through heaven. He is loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Don is survived by his sons, Daniel and Steven Shaffer. He is the brother of Debbie (Butch) Heatherman, Judy Carron, his twin, Dennis (Cathy) Shaffer and Joe (Shari) Shaffer. He is also survived by his extended family, Suzanne, Rick and Amanda Lagace and many dear friends. Don was Poppy to Anya, Nora, Madison and Dylan.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. To leave a special message for the family online, visit NewcomerAlbany.com
