ROTTERDAM – Donald J. Trager, 68, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Stratton VA Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Schenectady, he was the son of the late Donald K. and Marion (Smith) Trager.
Donald served for eight years in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Patricia.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Trager of Albany; sister and brother-in-law Nina and Richard Haury; grandson Nicholas Trager, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208 in Donald's name.
