Donald K. Nedeau Jr.

Donald K. "Donny" Nedeau Jr., 62, passed away on August 23, 2024.

Donny was an expert with all types of seafood and fish. He worked for Cousins Fish Market for many years. He was a seafood specialist for Brickman's and Driscoll foods. Donny worked with many chefs throughout the region, always ensuring the freshest seafood would be available for them to serve. His work gave rise to countless cherished friendships with colleagues and customers.

Donny loved sports, especially the NY Yankees and the NY Giants. He was an avid golfer and bowler with a few 300 games to his accomplishments. Donny loved music and would attend as many concerts as possible, most recently attending REO Speedwagon at SPAC.  

He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Jean Nedeau and his sister Monique Kirkpatrick. 

Donny is survived by his son Don Nedeau III (Amy); sister, Donna Hatfield (Harold); nieces and nephews, Donna Bennett (Cory), Michael Hatfield (Hannah), Kristy Kirkpatrick-Hamelin (Andrew), and DJ Kirkpatrick (Shannon); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He also leaves behind his loving cat, Eli.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colony. A funeral ceremony will immediately follow the calling hours at 7 p.m.
