Donald Steinbach, 66, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his friends and loved ones Sunday March 8, 2009 at his home in Albany.

He was born in Albany February 9, 1943, the son of the late Kenneth and Catherine Steinbach. He was a lifelong area resident who had a part time job as a bottle and can recycler. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially while on his bicycle and liked shopping and woodworking. Donald lived his life to the fullest and was a sweet and gentle man.

Donald is survived by his brother Richard Steinbach, his special friend Carol and his many dear friends from his home and community life. He will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be held 11:00am Thursday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
