WASHINGTON DC –Donald E. Williams, 74, of Washington DC, passed away on Sunday February 25, 2007 at George Washington University Hospital. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late W. Stanley Williams and Charlotte Bader Williams.
Don was a 1954 graduate of RPI and earned his engineering license with New York State in 1961. He was an honors graduate of the George Washington Law School in 1966. Don was an engineer and attorney for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington DC for many years. He enjoyed traveling and fishing.
He is the brother of Robert A. (Dorothy Musley) Williams, W. Stanley Williams Jr., Richard Byrd (Frances) Williams, Gerald Williams (Dianne McCormack) and the late J. Herbert Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be Albany Rural Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Newcomerfamily.com
