Donamarie Gross

Albany- Donamarie Gross, 86, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Thompson. She is predeceased by her husband, Max Gross.
Donamarie worked for the county and the city of Albany for over twenty years before her retirement. She was very involved in the Democratic Committee.
She is survived by her six children; Annette Plant (Chuck), Valerie Flanders (Ivette), Dona Moffatt (Steve), Wayne Flanders (Marilyn), Kim Spear (John) and Julie Flanders. She will also be missed by her 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Donamarie wants to thank Keisha and Anna for always being there for her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shaker Place or Community Hospice.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10am at St. Vincent De Paul, 900 Madison Ave, Albany, NY 12208. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
