LOUDONVILLE - Donna Lee Clark, 85, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center in Schenectady, surrounded by her loving family.
Donna was born on May 17, 1931 in Kempton, IL and was the daughter of the late Derwood and Olive (Leonard) Falter. She received her nursing degree from Albany Medical College. She was a dental assistant for William Bode, DDS and Timothy Gary, DDS in Albany for over 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and dancing and had a love of cats.
Donna is survived by her loving children, James H. (Suzanne) Powell, Jr. of Delmar and Marla J. (Jim) Bishop of Latham; her many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, James H. Powell, Sr. and Carl D. Clark; her step daughter, Diane (Clark) Westa and her sister, Marilyn Scott.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff at Kingsway Arms for their dedicated and loving care given to Donna.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189 on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with a service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that a donation be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Donna.
