GUILDERLAND- Donna L. Curley, age 71, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2023.
She was born in Yonkers, NY, the daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Hurley. She was also predeceased by her husband of 36 years Philip Curley.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Education from Winthrop University. She went on to help her husband run various restaurants, and later went to work for the NYS Bill Drafting Commission where she retired after 25 + years of service.
Donna was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Jon) Urquhart of Saratoga Springs, NY; two grandchildren: Alex and Camden Urquhart; two sisters: Debbie (Leon) Christakos and Beth Hurley. She is the sister in law of Joseph (Eleanor) Curley, Caroline Curley (Mike Caplan), Mary Ellen Curley (Steve Bernhoft), Karen Curley and the late John Curley. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Monday June 19, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her funeral service at the funeral home following at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Central Avenue, Colonie, NY.
