Donna A. Franchini

Albany- Donna A. Franchini, 73, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Myers. Donna was the devoted wife to Marino P. Franchini. They were married 47 years.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. She loved to travel, especially with her husband and grandchildren to her favorite spot in Maine. The most important thing in her life was being with her family especially during the Christmas Season.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her sons; David M. (Donna) Franchini and Daniel M. (Christine) Franchini; grandchildren, Emily, Lauren and Sheridan; brother, Richard Myers; nephew, Paul Rossello and Christopher Myers; and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Donna is predeceased by her brother, George Myers; sister, Elizabeth Daum; and her special niece; Lisa Rossello.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Sunday October 17, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held Monday October 18, 2021 at 10:00 am at Christ our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr, Albany, NY 12211. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery, 481 Rte 9W, Glenmont, NY 12077.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Donna's name to the The Community Hospice, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
