Donna M. Hurlburt

GREEN ISLAND - Donna M. Hurlburt, 64, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Samaritan Hospital.

Donna was born on November 30, 1959 in Troy and was the daughter of the late Herbert R. and Beatrice F. (Maloney) Van Vranken. She was a graduate of Troy High School. She worked for the NYS Division of Parole for several years before retiring. She enjoyed crafts, bingo, family BBQ's and parties of all occasions, and spending time with her loving family.

Donna is survived by her devoted and loving partner of over 19 years, Mario Brown; her loving children, Peter (Tami) Murray Jr., Stacy Murray (Dennis Donnelly Jr.) and Shawn (Jillian) Murray; her loving sister, Beatrice F. Van Vranken; her adored grandchildren, Thomas J. Sunkes-Murray, Xavier Scott, Trinity Hamblin, Savannah Murray, Peter J. Murray III, Jacob Murray and Bella Murray; her nieces, Lora and Amanda and her nephew, Christopher. She is also survived by other family members and close friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Mary Agnes Guerin and her niece, Holly Guerin.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
