Donna Lee Kelly Soler

Green Island- Donna Lee Kelly Soler, 56, was called home to our Lord after her yearlong battle with cancer. Donna, born on August 7, 1960 to Jefferson Kelly and Patricia Tervay Kelly.

She married Nicholas Soler in 2001; Donna raised her three wonderful children, Matthew, Nicole, and Antonio; along with being a great mother, she was dedicated to her five grandchildren, Matthew, Noah, Jaelah, Loveia, and Jahlesia. Mrs. Kelly Soler was blessed enough to become a great-grandmother to Shane Matthew Kelly.

Donna was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was the rock of her family, she would do anything for anyone just to see you smile or make your life easier even if it made hers a little harder. She had a smile that would brighten up the room. No matter what the situation, she would never pass judgement on you; just lend a helping hand. After serving 30 years as a business document specialist for the Department of State Division of Corporations, Donna Lee Kelly Soler had recently retired.

Her family asks all who knew her to join in a final celebration of her life at 4pm-7pm on Friday, June 2, 2017 at New Comer Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. An opportunity to share memories will start at 7pm at the funeral home.
