Donna M. Speciale

NISKAYUNA – Donna M. Speciale, 55, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, with her loving family by her side. Born in Troy, she is the beloved daughter of Rita M. Lashway and the late Leonard F. Lashway, Sr. Donna had resided in Colonie for most of her life. She was a graduate of Cohoes High School and worked for Biomed at Ellis Hospital from where she retired. Donna enjoyed shopping and caring for her birds. She always put everyone else's needs before hers and cared for everyone she came in contact with. Donna especially loved traveling to Las Vegas with her husband.

In addition to her beloved mother, she is survived by her devoted husband, Vincent Speciale. She is the cherished sister of Leonard F. Lashway, Jr., Diana (Pete) Forni and Mary Heppelle. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and Sammy, Joey, Benny, Billi and Mickey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Clare in Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
