Donna O'Shea

NISKAYUNA- Donna S. O'Shea,. 59, of Niskayuna, passed away on Tuesday March 21, 2006 at St. Clare's Hospital Hospice after a long illness. She was born in Sidney, NY and was the daughter of the late Donald R. and Eva A. Gill Simmons.
Donna had worked for Hilltop Manor in Niskayuna, JC Penny in Latham and most recently as a legal secretary with Spencer, Maston and McCarthy Law firm in Albany. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and camping wither her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
Donna's family would like to thank Riverview Cancer Center, Rite Aid Pharmacy and St. Clare's Hospital 3 south staff for the special care and support of their Mom.
Donna is the beloved mother of Nancy (Rob) Guzior of Niskayuna, Richard Hendee II, David Hendee both of Watervliet and Penni (Dug) Sheldon of Schoharie. She is the sister of Patti Sue (John) Stewart and the late Donald Simmons. Cherished grandmother of Richard Hendee III, Casandra Guzior, Joshua Hendee and Robbie Guzior. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 6 Greenbush Drive, East Greenbush NY 12061 in memory of Donna S. O'Shea.
