Donna J. Riley

Guilderland- Donna J. Riley, 65, of Clifton Park, passed away at home surrounded by family on, Thursday, November 4, 2021. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Janet Desmo.

Donna set an example for her daughters by returning to school in her late thirties studying as a paralegal. She loved her simple mornings, waking up and going to the Halfmoon Diner to enjoy her coffee and paper. She was loved by all at the diner. Donna had a big heart and loved all animals. She enjoyed family vacations and taking cruises. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, they were her world.

Donna is survived by her four daughter's, Christina Baldwin (Aaron), Amie Riley (David Wagner), Ashley Ball (Louis) and Megan Ball and her father Chuck. She will also be missed by her eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter with two more on the way. She is also survived by her siblings James Desmo (Phyllis), Darlene Desmo and Kathy Leonard (Kevin).

She is predeceased by her stepmother Jean Desmo.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 12pm-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 2pm at the funeral home.
