ALBANY- Donna L. Streeter, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 23, 2021
She was born on May 13, 1943 daughter of the late Donald and Betty Gregory.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter C. Streeter III; sister, Kathleen Gregory and granddaughter, Sarah Rachel Hoose.
Donna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. After the death of her husband she went to work for NYS Dept. of Corrections. She loved collecting bears. She enjoyed crafting and knitting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, she leaves behind many cherished memories.
Donna is survived by her 8 children, Walter C. Streeter IV (Ken), Laurie Dunn (Ernie), Mathew Streeter (Becky), Stephen Streeter (Susan), Geoffrey Streeter (Myrna), Scott Streeter, Adam Streeter, Amy Streeter; 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; brother, John R. Gregory (Grace) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will held on Wednesday July 28, 2021 from 1-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Research Foundation, 5969 Cattleridge Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34232 or a charity of ones choosing.
