Donna C. Tedesco

November 4, 1947 — October 28, 2024

Round Lake

Donna Tedesco, 76 of Round Lake, NY formerly of Latham, NY, passed away on Oct. 28 after a long battle with blood cancer. Born in Rochester, NY. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Sumner and Audrey Pearsall, and a brother, David Pearsall.

Survived by her husband and best friend of 57 years, Frank, and her children Frank Jr (Kimberly) Tedesco of Sunny Isle, FL, Meghan (Greg) Sweet of South Burlington, VT, and Christopher (Amy) Tedesco of Mendham, NJ. But her greatest pride and joy was for her grandchildren whom she adored and cherished. She was proud of all their accomplishments and was their biggest cheerleader– Frank III and Tanner Tedesco, McKenna, Ryan and Brady Sweet, and Jack and Ryan Tedesco. Her beloved Aunt Dolly also survives her.

Donna dedicated many years to Travelers Insurance, where she not only thrived in her role but also formed lasting friendships with colleagues. Later, as the Assistant to the Athletic Director at Siena College, she found immense joy in her work and in the connections she made with those around her.

For the past two decades, Donna and Frank were fortunate to spend half of each year in her beloved “Happy Place”—Bucerías, Mexico. There, she cultivated beautiful friendships with both locals and visitors, leaving a lasting impact on many who knew her.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at NYOH and Albany Medical Center for their compassionate support and kindness during her recent years. Special thanks are due to Dr. Lawrence Garbo, to “her personal” phlebotomists, and to the wonderful nursing staff who were so kind and caring.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In honor of Donna’s memory, donations may be made to the NYOH Community Cancer Foundation.
