Dora L. Richardson

ALBANY, NY – Dora L. Richardson, 53, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital. She was born in LaGrange, GA and was the daughter of Willie and Winnie Hurston. Dora loved her family and enjoyed fishing and sewing. She is survived by her children, Leonard Evans, Jr., Tracey Joseph, Renee (Leroy Bennett) Haggray, Glen (Jacqueline Horn) Richardson, Frank Richardson, Ann Marie Richardson, Mary Louise Richardson and Tommy (Charlene Tobin) Richardson. Dora is the sister of Glen Polen, Reta Williams and Etna, Tony, Terry, Eddy and Rose Maria Polen. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and her dear friends, Sarah and Yvonne.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
