Doreen K. Lipscomb

ALBANY-Doreen Kathrine (Morgan) Lipscomb, 63 of Albany passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Doreen was the daughter of Mabel and Frank Morgan, born in Albany, NY on May 19, 1951. On Christmas Day 1975, she was married to John H. Lipscomb of Albany, NY. Doreen was employed as a home health care aid for many years before her illness. She was very devoted and proud of her work and treated all of the people in her care as family. Each person was special to her and she brought them comfort. A devoted and loving wife, Doreen enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities with her husband. Predeceased by her parents and siblings, Doreen was very proud of her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them. In addition to her husband, she is survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, all of whom love and will miss her dearly. A funeral service will be at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, New York on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Albany, New York. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday, August 15 from 10 to 11 a.m.
