Doris A. Flannery

GUILDERLAND – Doris A. Flannery, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011.
Born April 4, 1932 in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late William Kalteux and Margaret Schaninger Kalteux. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Flannery Robinson and her brother, William Kalteux. Doris resided in Watervliet and Guilderland.
Doris is survived by her children, Susan and Stephen McGough, Garry and Nancy Robinson, Thomas and Julie Flannery, and Michael and Lona Flannery; her grandchildren, Stephen and Gail Greeley, Judd, Jenna, and Jillian Robinson, Kyle Flannery, and Shannon and Shayla Flannery; her great-grandchildren, Kiernan, Kollin, and Kaylin Greeley; and one niece and many nephews. She and her former husband and his wife, Thomas and Sally Flannery, remained very close friends through the years, they gathered as a family at every opportunity.
Doris was a devoted Mother and was very giving to her children and grandchildren. She cherished her time with family and was always proud of them.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Reformed Church, 705 Curry Road, Rotterdam, NY 12306. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scleroderma Foundation, 59 Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905 in memory of her daughter, Sandra Robinson.
