Doris M. Trahan

SCHENECTADY- Doris Mae Rolfe Trahan, 85, of Schenectady, passed away on Sunday October 21, 2007 at St. Clare's Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Concord NH and raised in Littleton, NH. Doris was the daughter of the late Leon J. and Georgiana Belanger Rolfe. She has been a resident of Schenectady for over 50 years. She was a bookkeeper for her family business, the Nahart Company. Doris was a talented seamstress. She was a longtime communicant of St. Madeline Sophie Church and active with several church ministries. Doris was predeceased by her husband Charles Trahan and her infant son, Thomas.
She is the beloved mother of Charles (Patricia) Trahan, Sheriah (Terry) McGovern and Pamela (John) Renwick. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 10:00 at St. Madeline Sophie Church, Guilderland. There will be no calling hours. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3 Winners Circle, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Doris M. Trahan.
