LOUDONVILLE – Doris Marilyn (Wendell) Willard, 86, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at home. Born November 27, 1926 in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Marion M. (Jackson) Wendell.
Doris was a resident of Delmar, Dennis, Massachusetts, and Loudonville. She attended St. Agnes School for Girls, Parsons School of Fashion and Design in New York City. Doris worked as a fashion illustrator for many of the Albany area department stores and shops.
Doris was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Willard, in 1995.
She will be missed by her children, Pamela A. Dadlow and John D. (Karen)Willard; grandchildren Allison, Justin, Jared Dadlow, David (Rebecca), Eric and Brian Willard and great-grandchild Luciana Willard.
Doris will be buried with her beloved husband in Cape Cod – the place they loved most. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
