Doris M. Stone

Doris M. Stone, 73, we said farewell on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 to our dear Doris. She passed at The Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters with her loving family by her side. Doris was the daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (Motto) Monforte.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of over 55 years, Michael T. Stone, and was the beloved mother of Michael Stone, Jr. (DeeDee). Beloved grandmother to special granddaughter Alexis and her fiancé Charlie, whose help and compassion was invaluable to us. She leaves behind her beloved grandson Joshua and great grandsons Lucien and Rene. Beloved sister of Vincent Montforte Jr. (Grace). A special thank you to cousin and best friend Anna Connor for all of her and her family's help and compassion. Beloved cousins Sarah and Carmella are also very loved and cherished and their help was also appreciated.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Monday April 7, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the service at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.
