Doris Anne Lokerson Walter, died March 11, 2017 at Schenectady, New York. Daughter of the late John Thornton Lokerson and Dorothy Elizabeth Ehlshlager Lokerson, born Homeopathic Hospital, Washington, DC April 18, 1939.
Survived by husband Henry Franklin Walter, whom she married November 28, 1964, by children Barbara (Steve), Richard (Lilian), and James (Andrea), and by grandchildren Joseph, Maximilian, and Gabriel. Pre-deceased by grandson Henry Christopher Walter. Survived by triplet siblings David (Nancy) and Donald (Judy) and by sister-in-law Winifred Lokerson. Pre-deceased by sister Jean Elizabeth Lokerson and brother Robert Clayton Lokerson (Winifred). Survived by cousins Elizabeth Ann Ehlshlager Brown and A. Karl Ehlshlager (Charlotte).
Cremation with burial at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be donations to a favorite charity. Doris was particularly fond of PEO, a philanthropic and educational organization for women (PEO Executive Office, 3700 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50312).
