Dororthy Ruffin

ALBANY – Dorothy G. Ruffin, 74, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Meridian, MS she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Edna Thompson, Sr. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, George M. Ruffin. She was the devoted mother of Brenda and Catherine, Charles, Maria, Francine and Dorzier. She is the sister of Edna Clay of Albany, and Willie Faye Sago of Chicago. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 11:00 at Star of Bethlehem Church, 513 Clinton Ave., Albany with Rev. B.E. Bailey officiating. A Calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany. Expressions of sympathy may be made at newcomerfamily.com
