Dorothea Farnam, of Guilderland went to be with the Lord on Resurrection Sunday April 17,2022. She spent her whole life loving and serving God. She would do anything to help others and family meant everything to her.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Donald Farnam, sons, John Day and Douglas Day, daughter Deborah (Michael) Matwijeczko, Step- children, Onalova (Kevin) Shaw, Leonard (Maria) Farnam, and Heidi Farnam.
Grand-children, John Day III, Jessica Thompson, Nicholas Day, Laura Muller, Tayler Farnam, and Miley Farnam,Great-grand-children, Aidan Day, Logan Day, Jeannette Terry and an expected great-grand-daughter.
She was predeceased by her parents, John Carkner and Effie Carkner Senecal. Also predeceased by her siblings, Marion Stipe, Elizabeth White Bylancik, Joane Beals and John Carkner Jr.
A Funeral service will be held Saturday April 23rd at 10:00 am, at the Colonie Alliance Church, 32 Lapham Drive. Interment following at Memory's Garden Cemetery.
