Dorothea Wade

MALTA- Dorothea McLaughlin Wade passed peacefully, surrounded by her family. She went to the Lord on Monday July 9, 2007.
Born in Albany, Dottie was born December 24, 1943 to the late William and Dorothea McLaughlin. She was a graduate of Colonie High School. Dottie worked for Professional Insurance Carriers of America for 25 years. More recently, she worked with food services at Niskayuna High School. Dottie will be remembered for her wit, unique personality and willingness to give love to all.
She is the beloved wife of Frank Wade; sister of Barbara (Gaston) Brisebois, Mother of William (Jennifer) Critcher, Robert Critcher and Barbara Ann Critcher; Step mother of Frank Wade Jr.; aunt of Joseph (Kellie) Zappone and Christine (Thomas) Valenti. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, grand niece and nephew.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Dorothea M. Wade.
