Dorothy A. Haggart

COLONIE – Dorothy A. Haggart, 78, of Colonie, passed away gently on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gloversville and was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Wessendorf.
Dorothy was a Licensed Practical Nurse for several years with local hospitals.
She is the beloved wife of 57 years to William J. Haggart Jr. Dorothy is the devoted mother of Lorelei (William) Notro, Mary (Robert) Frehulfer, William W. (Dawn) Haggart, John F. (Stephanie) Haggart, Amy (William) Almy, Rebecca (Charles) Sirgianno and Thomas (Martylee) Haggart. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 at the funeral home. Interment will in Saratoga National VA Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the USS Slater DE-766, PO Box 1926, Albany, NY 12201-1926.
