Dorothy A Boehm, 92, passed away Thursday December 16, 2021, with her loving family by her side.
Dorothy was born July 30, 1929, in Schenectady, NY. Was the daughter of the late John and Helen Przybylowski.
Dorothy attended Pleasant Valley elementary and middle school and graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1947 with Commerce Course, received a penmanship award while attending high school. Was also involved in many clubs. Upon graduation, she was employed at General Electric, Aeronautics Department until starting her family.
Years later, she began working at the Schenectady County Library advancing to a Principal Library Clerk, retiring after 38 years of service.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Boehm.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Robin Klimek and Terri Boehm, along with her grandchildren Ryan Boehm {Rose Boehm}. Aubrey Kuczynski, Steven Kuczynski, Kayla, Kendra, Meghan, McKenzie Klimek, Brian {Rod} Klimek, along with 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ronald Przybylowski and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, watching Yankees play baseball, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Enjoyed her Friday night dinners out at her favorite restaurants and shopping.
Dorothy was a very caring, generous person and always willing to help when needed.
A Celebration of Life will be announced for some time during the summer of 2022.
