ALBANY—Dorothy C. Lemerise, 87, entered into eternal peace, Saturday evening July 23rd, surrounded by her loving family.
Dorothy was born in Burlington, VT, a daughter of the late David and Christella Curtis Galloway. She was the devoted wife of the late Major David B. Lemerise, U.S. Army, with whom she traveled the world along with her children.
Dorothy is survived by her devoted children, David E. Lemerise of Colonie and Dianna Lemerise-LaPrade and her paramour, Michael Wilson of Ovid, NY; adoring grandchildren, Tina Reed and her husband John of Seneca Falls and Robert and Molly LaPrade of Senca Falls, NY; great-grandchildren, Kobe LaPrade, Ashley Denmark and Austin Reed; loving aunt of Larry and Jane Berben and family; several nieces and nephews also survive her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and entombment with her husband will be held in Arlington National Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers be sent, rather donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, 12211
