Dorothy Grier

ALBANY-Dorothy F. Grier, 72, of Albany passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012 following an extended illness. Prior to her passing, she was comforted by the loving care of her sister Anita, and niece Klarrisa. She was born in Uhrichsville, OH and has resided in Albany most of her adult life. Dorothy retired from NYS OMRDD as a Program Operation Specialist.

Dorothy is survived by her mother, Milne Marie Grier, of W.Palm Beach,FL and predeceased by her father James Grier, Sr. She is also survived by her siblings, Mildred Taylor of Las Vegas, NV, James Grier, Jr. of Washington, DC, Trudy Grier of Delmar, NY, Donald Grier of Charleston, SC, Theodore Grier of Kihei, HI, Carolyn Grier of W. Palm Beach, FL, Anita Grier of Albany, NY, and predeceased by her brother Ronald Grier. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank all the caregivers who gave Dorothy exceptional care during her time of need.
