ALBANY - Dorothy B. Gustin, 84, of Albany, died on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donald J. Gustin, Sr. who passed away on September 13, 2011. She was mother of the late Donald Jr. and Tina Marie Gustin.
Born in Albany on December 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Hansen and Elizabeth (Miskewicz) Hansen.
Dorothy is survived by her sons John (Deb Guilbault) and David; her beloved daughter in law, Patricia Ciraulo (Philip); her grandson, David Ciraulo (Brittany Coughlin); granddaughter, Jessica Hume (Kevin) and great grandsons Anthony and Dominic.
Dorothy is also survived by countless parents, families, and children (now grown) that she babysat for over a twenty year span.
A special heartfelt thanks to the hospice staff, the Guadalupe Unit Nursing Staff and to a wonderful group of past and present nursing assistants.
Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. An hour of visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am immediately followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
