Dorothy I. Halburian
May 19, 1926 — September 2, 2015
Colonie- Dorothy I. Halburian passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 2nd 2015 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Lewis Wagoner and Carrie Gibson of Albany.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband James Halburian of Albany. She is also survived by her daughter Allison Machia of Wallkill, NY; grandchildren; Wayne Anderson of Albany, Kimberly (William) Hopper and Jamie (Carl) Minnerly both of Wallkill, NY. Dorothy will also be missed by her 4 great grandchildren and also her step children; Mark (Valerie) Halburian of Schenectady, Lynn McLaughlin of Albany and Dale Halburian of Cranston, RI.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Town of Colonie EMS Department for their unfailing responses, compassion and efforts. Also, the family would like to thank their caring neighbors for always being there for them.
Calling hours will be held Saturday September 5th 2015 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205. A memorial service will follow the calling hours at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Whiskers Animal Benevolent League (Animal Benevolent League PO Box 11190, Albany NY 12211).
